Unfortunate Information reaching our news room and confirmation from family members confirm that popular Radio Host and Taxi man Sam Henry has passed away. We are understanding that he suffered a massive heart attack. Sam is understood to be out of the Territory on vacation.We will bring more on this developing story. Our condolences to his family. Information reaching our newsroom is that the Premier, Dr. Natalio Wheatley, is looking to reconvene the 4th House of Assembly to clarify statuses given out under the Fast Track Belongers programme. Our newsroom understands that a report received from the Attorney General’s Office has indicated serious issues within the granting of statuses under the fast track programme done under the Andrew Fahie lead Administration in 2020.

Speculation has been swirling as to the whereabouts of disgraced former Premier Andrew Fahie. However, documents were filed on Friday by Fahie petitioning the Court to be able to leave the apartment. Information reaching our newsroom this morning is that Dirk Walters has been appointed to the Events Manager position at the British Virgin Islands Tourist Board.In December 2020, the BVI Tourist Board released Cindy Rosan, Events Coordinator, with immediate effect citing a downturn in tourism and a lack of funding to continue her salary.  She was the only one released from the Board. On Sunday, March 26, 2023, Honourable Alvera Maduro-Caines, Representative for the 6th District, held her campaign launch at the Omar Hodge Fisherman’s Wharf & Park.
