US Border Patrol Release Images Of Captured Suspect In Stoutt Murder Case

The US Border Patrol has released information and images on their official Facebook page, of the capture of Erik Rabsatt, suspect in the murder of Virgin Islander and US Army Veteran Jaimez Stoutt. 

Jaimez Stoutt who was 31 at the time, was fatally shot during the early morning hours of December 11, 2021, sometime at a popular Nightclub and Sports Bar in Free Bottom, Tortola. The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) issued a warrant for Rabsatt’s arrest in connection to Stoutt’s death the following year, January 2022, but Rabsatt has been on run since that time. 

The following was stated on the US Border Patrol’s Facebook page:

“FUGITIVE ARRESTED- MURDER SUSPECT!

4/30- In St. Thomas, VI, USBP Special Operations Group arrested a fugitive with an Interpol red notice for MURDER out of the British Virgin Islands.  The suspect, a Dominican Republic national illegally in the U.S. bolted as agents approached.  The 23-year-old ran through steep hills and thick brush attempting to evade arrest. He is now in custody awaiting extradition. 

You can run, but we will find you, and apprehend you.”

Based on sourced information, Erik Rabsatt, is presently in St. Thomas awaiting extradition back to the VI to face charges in the case. 

Jaimez Stoutt was the father of a toddler son.
