Hello You

Well, well since we spoke on Boundaries. Let's dive into letting go. Truly releasing and serving you instead of them. Most times, we fall into a cycle whether toxic or not that keeps our body into constant flight or fight mode. The never-ending battle within ourselves to help, to try harder, to chase, to settle, to solve things and people. Instead of trying to win anybody or things over, focus on being the best version of You!

Best Sleep I Ever Got.

Hello You!

The best sleep I ever got wasn’t because I was physically exhausted—it was the night I finally gave myself permission to rest. And I mean really rest. Not just my body, but my mind and heart. For so long, I convinced myself that I had to earn rest. I thought I could only rest when everything was in order, when I had done enough. But that night, I realized that true rest comes from giving up the constant need to be “on.”

I had spent so much of my life holding onto things—stress, regret, heartbreak, fear, worries, life on a whole—that kept me awake at night. I would lie in bed, my thoughts spinning, replaying the day, worrying about the future, carrying everything with me. Sleep became this distant thing I couldn’t quite reach. And it wasn’t because I wasn’t tired; it was because I was holding on to too much.

That night, I let go. I stopped clinging to the things that no longer served me. I stopped trying to fix everything, control everything, and be everything to everyone. I gave myself the space to just be. And when I did, that’s when the peace began to settle in. I could feel my body relax in ways it hadn’t in years. I could feel my heart soften, just for a moment.

Hello You, if you’re anything like I was, you probably know what it feels like to be so tired but unable to sleep. To be so weighed down by everything you think you should be doing, or everything you think you’re carrying. But the truth is, we don’t have to carry all of it. We don’t have to keep running, keep holding on, keep proving ourselves. The real freedom comes when we let ourselves rest. It comes when we release what no longer serves us and trust that we are enough, just as we are.

I learned that sleep isn’t just the absence of activity—it’s the presence of peace. When you let go of the stress, the guilt, the expectations, sleep isn’t something you chase; it becomes a gift you give yourself. And when you start giving yourself that gift, something magical happens. You realize you deserve it. You realize that rest is not a luxury—it’s a necessity for your well-being.

I’ve made it a habit to honor my sleep by creating small rituals before bed. I make space to wind down, to let go of the day’s thoughts, to breathe deeply, and to simply be present with myself. These simple actions are now my act of self-care. It’s my way of telling myself that I matter, that I deserve peace, that I can rest without guilt.

Hello You, I want you to know that it’s okay to take a break. It’s okay to let go of what you can’t control, to stop carrying the weight of everything all the time. Sleep isn’t just about closing your eyes—it’s about giving yourself permission to rest without the fear of missing out, without the worry that you should be doing something else.

The best sleep I ever got came when I stopped fighting it. It came when I finally decided that I was worth resting for. So, Hello You, tonight, try to let go of what’s been keeping you up. Give yourself permission to rest. YOU deserve it!
