The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) confirms that the male in Saturday’s fatal shooting incident in the West End area is 32-year-old Nyron Erickson of West End.

Preliminary reports indicate that the shooting occurred shortly after 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2025. Erickson was reportedly riding a scooter in the area when unknown assailants fired multiple rapid gunshots in his direction, fatally wounding him. Officers responded to the scene and secured the area. The matter is now under active investigation.

Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police Kenrick Davis expressed concern over the continued use of violence to settle disputes.

Erickson who was also affectionately known as ‘Yo Killa’ and ‘West Bank’, was on bail at the time of his murder. He leaves his parents, two young children and siblings to mourn.
