RVIPF Police Vehicle Crashes on Way to Emergency
Early reports are indicating that a RVIPF vehicle crashed into a pole last night Saturday 5 July 2025, while on the way to attend an emergency in the Zion Hill area.
Sources are confirming that the Ambulance was called to an emergency at a home in the Zion Hill area last night. However, we understand that when the ambulance arrived, the elderly female was deceased, and the Responders then contacted Police to come to the scene. While waiting for the Police to arrive, the Ambulance received yet another emergency. The Responders then contacted the Police once again to ascertain how close they were, as they now had to get to the other emergency.
The Police, in attempting to hurry to the emergency, crashed into a pole. The Ambulance in turn then had to attend to the Police Officers who we understand were injured, however, we are not sure to what extent.
We are unsure as to why Police from the West End area were unable to respond, and we are unsure as to whether the BVIHSA has only one operating ambulance at this time.
We are making the requisite calls and will update this story once we’ve obtained further information.
This is a breaking news story.
