The Rotary Club of Central Tortola has been awarded the Membership Action Plan (MAP) Membership Achievement Award for the 2024/25 Rotary year, in recognition of its outstanding success in growing and strengthening its membership.
In a congratulatory letter dated August 1, 2025, George Robertson-Burnett, Chair of Rotary International Zones 33/34 Membership Action Plan, and Rotary International Director Patrick Eakespraised the Club’s leadership, creativity, and commitment to fostering a welcoming environment that inspires service and fellowship.
“Your efforts have strengthened and grown your Club,” the letter stated. “You’ve not only embraced the challenge of growing membership; you’ve excelled at it. You’ve proven that with intentionality, creativity, and a welcoming spirit, membership growth is achievable and impactful.”
Shan Mohamed, Membership Chair for 2024/25, expressed pride in the Club’s achievement:
