The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) is investigating a report of gunfire in the Baughers Bay area minutes before 9 pm on Friday 5th September.

Officers responded to the report and carried out investigations in the area. At this time, no injuries have been reported. The matter remains under active investigation.

As recent as Sunday 7th September, gunfire could be heard in the Huntum’s Ghut area in the early evening.

The RVIPF is encouraging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or any other gunfire incident and has information that could assist to contact the Intelligence Unit at 368-9339 or report anonymously through the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-8477 (TIPS) or 284-800-8477 from overseas.
