The Rotary Club of Central Tortola has announced receipt of the Club Excellence Award for 2024–2025, bestowed by Rotary District 7020. This distinguished honor recognizes exceptional leadership, impactful service, and steadfast commitment to Rotary’s core values, making it one of the highest accolades a Rotary club can achieve.

This milestone reflects the club’s unwavering dedication and collaborative spirit under the dynamic leadership of Immediate Past President Annill Daniel, who guided the club through a transformative Rotary year. Through strategic goal-setting and community-driven initiatives, the club made meaningful contributions to both local development and the broader mission of Rotary International.

“This recognition is a proud moment for our club and for all who supported us,” said Daniel. “It speaks to the passion, resilience, and unity of our members, board, and community partners, who worked tirelessly to make a difference throughout the year.”

Special commendation is extended to the 2024–2025 Board of Directors, whose vision and guidance were instrumental during a year marked by growth, innovation, and service. Their leadership ensured the club’s continued relevance and impact within the community.  Incoming President Zoe Walcott (2025–2026) celebrated the achievement and shared her enthusiasm for the year ahead:

“This award is a testament to what we can accomplish when we embody Rotary’s motto of Service Above Self. As we move forward, we’ll continue to deepen our impact and strengthen our bonds with the community.”

District 7020 Immediate Past District Governor Dominique Bazin also praised the club’s performance:  “The Rotary Club of Central Tortola has exemplified excellence through goal-setting, member engagement, and meaningful community service. Their achievement reflects the very best of Rotary.”
