RiteWay Expands Waitrose Products in Response to U.S. Tariffs

RiteWay Food Markets has announced the launch of 2,500 new Waitrose products, bringing customers an even greater selection of high-quality foods and household items.

This strategic expansion comes in direct response to the U.S. tariffs on imported goods, ensuring that shoppers in the British Virgin Islands continue to have access to premium international products, at competitive prices.

The newly introduced range from Waitrose, the UK’s leading supermarket brand known for its commitment to quality, taste, and sustainability, spans multiple categories – including fresh, frozen, pantry staples, beverages, and household essentials.

“RiteWay has always been committed to offering value and variety the RiteWay,” said Neil Hayes, Managing Director.

“With tariffs affecting U.S. imports, it was critical for us to look beyond traditional supply chains. Waitrose is a natural partner: their products are trusted, innovative, and perfectly aligned with our promise of quality for our customers.” he went on to say.

This expansion ensures that RiteWay shoppers benefit from:

• Uninterrupted access to a wide range of international products despite tariff challenges.

• Premium British quality with Waitrose’s renowned standards in sourcing and production.

• More choice than ever before, with 2,500 new items available across RiteWay stores.

“With this launch, RiteWay not only counters the impact of tariffs but also strengthens our position as the leading supermarket in the BVI, delivering global value every day,” added Mr. Hayes.
