When you finally let go,

the air tasted different,

clean, sharp, alive.

The weight you carried for years

fell silent at your feet.

You did not chase it.

You did not weep.

You simply stepped forward,

lighter than you had ever known.

Into that place of Peace. 

Love is not supposed to feel

like chains disguised as roses.

It is not supposed to keep you

hungry, begging for crumbs. 

It's not heavy. It should be easy. 

When you finally let go,

You was never losing anything

You was finding everything.
