House of Assembly Grateful to VI Residents for 75th Anniversary Participation
The House of Assembly of the Virgin Islands has expressed profound gratitude to the people of the Virgin Islands for their overwhelming support during the 75th anniversary celebrations of the Restoration of Virgin Islands Legislature.
Speaker of the House of Assembly, Honourable Corine N. George-Massicote said that this milestone is a celebration of values. “It represents our collective expression of gratitude to the men and women who, through the decades, have chosen service over self, duty over comfort, and legacy over applause.”
Residents actively participated, provided valuable input, offered services and prayers,
increased patronage, and embodied the theme of honoring the past while shaping a self-determined future. These contributions marked the territory's 75-year journey toward greater autonomy.
