ST. KITTS NATIONAL CHARGED FOLLOWING FIREARM RECOVERY

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has charged one male following an intelligence-led police operation conducted on Tuesday, 30 December 2025, in the Fahie Hill area.

Alex Archibald, a native of St. Kitts and Nevis, who was arrested during the operation, has been formally charged with the following offences:

• Keeping an Unlicensed Firearm

• Unlawful Possession of Explosives

• Possession of a Controlled Drug

During the execution of a search warrant at a residential property, officers recovered a Glock firearm along with thirty-one (31) rounds of 9mm ammunition. Officers also seized approximately 8.82 grams of marijuana, along with other items of evidential value.

The RVIPF remains resolute in its efforts to combat illegal firearms and drug-related activity and continues to work diligently to ensure the safety and security of all communities across the Territory.
