Tarik Aaron who was arrested shortly before midnight on Friday, 17th April 2026, on an extradition request from authorities in the United States, appeared before the Magistrate’s Court yesterday, 27th April 2026 on the matter. 

Aaron has signed a no contest in relation to the extradition request for offences he allegedly committed in the United States, and was subsequently remanded to His Majesty’s Prison.

The matter has now been referred to His Excellency the Governor, who will determine the next steps in accordance with the applicable extradition laws and procedures.
