The British Virgin Islands Ports Authority (BVIPA) is pleased to announce a temporary reduction in port-related fees as part of our 35th Anniversary initiatives.

Effective 1st May 2026 to 31st July 2026:

• Wharfage has been reduced from 2% to 1%.
• Container handling fees lowered from $300 to $150 per TEU.

This initiative is in support of the Government’s response to the global fuel crisis and the associated rising cost of living. It is designed to ease the burden on our partners and stakeholders while reinforcing our commitment to supporting the wider community during this period.
