Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands — Caribbean Cellular Telephone (CCT), the Virgin Islands’ only locally owned telecommunications provider, has announced recording artiste and producer Raul “Jougo” Sprauve as its newest brand ambassador.

The partnership brings together two Virgin Islands brands built on creativity, local pride, and a commitment to investing in the Territory’s people and culture.

Jougo, who has established himself as a respected entertainer and producer, has gained recognition through his musical talent, creativity, and strong connection to Virgin Islands culture. Those qualities, CCT said, align closely with the company’s values as it celebrates 40 years of serving the community.

As a company founded and developed in the Virgin Islands, CCT said the collaboration represents its continued commitment to supporting local talent and celebrating the individuals who help showcase the Territory’s identity.

“Bringing Jougo into the CCT family is exciting because this is what supporting home looks like,” said Birch Lettsome, CCT’s Marketing and Media Manager. “The Virgin Islands continues to produce extraordinary talent, and Jougo represents that on so many levels. He’s creative, driven, authentic, and proud to represent the Virgin Islands. That’s exactly the kind of energy we want representing CCT.”

The partnership was officially unveiled during a signing ceremony at CCT’s Business Office, marking the beginning of a new collaboration as the Virgin Islands prepares for its 72nd Emancipation Festival celebrations.

CCT Chief Executive Officer Averad Penn said the partnership reflects the company’s belief in supporting local excellence and those contributing to the future of the Virgin Islands.

“We’re the home team, and we believe in backing home,” Penn said. “When great things are happening in the Virgin Islands, CCT wants to be part of them. Jougo has earned the admiration of so many through his music, his creativity, and his connection to our culture. We’re proud to welcome him to the CCT family and look forward to celebrating the Virgin Islands together.”

Jougo expressed his excitement about the partnership, noting that the collaboration represents a shared commitment to uplifting local talent and showcasing the Virgin Islands.

“Honestly, this partnership feels like it was meant to be,” Jougo said. “CCT and I share the same heartbeat because we both believe in investing in local talent and putting the Virgin Islands first. There’s something special about representing home. It’s about showing what we can accomplish when we believe in each other and continue building something bigger together.”

As Festival 2026 approaches, CCT and Jougo will collaborate on a series of campaigns aimed at enhancing the festival experience for customers throughout the Territory.

The public can expect exclusive promotions, special appearances, giveaways, and opportunities to win unique Festival experiences as part of the partnership.

CCT said additional campaign details, promotional offers, and customer giveaways will be announced throughout the festival season through its digital platforms and retail locations.

The partnership highlights the continued growth of local collaborations that celebrate Virgin Islands talent while strengthening the connection between businesses, culture, and community.
