HUNTUM’S GHUT, TORTOLA — Motorists and pedestrians are being advised to exercise caution as a section of the road in Huntum’s Ghut will be partially closed for road works beginning Saturday, August 8.

According to the Ministry of Communications and Works, the partial closure will affect the area in the vicinity of the 5th District Office and Toddy’s Restaurant and Bar.

The closure is scheduled to remain in effect through Saturday, September 5, to facilitate road works in the area.

The Ministry is advising motorists and pedestrians to exercise caution while travelling through the affected area and to follow all posted detour signs.

Members of the public are also encouraged to use alternate routes where possible to help ease traffic flow and avoid delays.

The Ministry acknowledged that the project may cause some inconvenience to residents, businesses and road users and expressed regret for any disruption experienced during the works.

Motorists are urged to plan their journeys accordingly and remain alert for changing traffic conditions and road crews throughout the duration of the project.
