ROAD TOWN, Tortola, British Virgin Islands — Republic Bank (BVI) Limited is continuing its investment in the well-being of young people across the Territory with donations of essential food items to four school pantries.

The initiative, themed “Fueling Young Minds for a Productive Day,” recognises the important role proper nutrition plays in students’ ability to learn, participate and thrive in the classroom.

This year, Republic Bank provided pantry support to:

● Willard Wheatley Primary School

● Francis Lettsome Primary School

● Alexandrina Maduro Primary School, marking the second consecutive year of support

● Joyce Samuel Primary School

The Bank said the initiative is intended to help ensure students have access to nutritious food so they can remain focused in the classroom, participate fully in school activities, engage positively with their peers and take advantage of learning opportunities.

“At Republic Bank, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, grow and reach their full potential,” said Marion Blyden, Managing Director of Republic Bank (BVI) Ltd.

“Access to proper nutrition plays a critical role in a student’s ability to succeed academically and socially. Through these pantry donations, we hope to help create an environment where students can thrive and concentrate on what matters most — their education.”

The initiative builds on a programme launched during the previous academic year, when Republic Bank made donations to Enis Adams Primary School and Alexandrina Maduro Primary School.

The Bank said it is pleased to continue the programme while expanding its reach to additional schools across the Territory.

As part of its corporate citizenship efforts, Republic Bank said it remains committed to investing in young people and supporting initiatives that strengthen communities and improve quality of life.

By partnering with schools, the Bank hopes to contribute to the overall well-being of students while helping create an environment in which young people are better positioned to succeed.

Four schools. Four pantries. One shared purpose — fueling students for brighter, healthier and more productive days.
