BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS — Hollywood actress and Beauty in Black star Crystle Stewart brought international star power to the British Virgin Islands as Celebrity Host of the 16th Annual Summer Sizzle BVI, the Caribbean’s premier fashion and lifestyle destination experience.
Stewart’s appearance in the Territory came shortly after the August 26 release of Season 3 of Netflix’s hit series Beauty in Black. During her visit, she marked the highly anticipated new season with an exclusive fashion editorial photographed at Long Bay Beach Resort.
The photoshoot was captured by acclaimed New York City photographer Michael William Paul and produced by MWP Studios, showcasing Stewart against the backdrop of the British Virgin Islands.
Adding a distinctly BVI touch to the editorial, Stewart wore a striking design by local designer Andrea Wilson of Islander Swim Collection, highlighting the creativity and talent emerging from the Territory’s fashion industry.
Stewart also shared photographs and behind-the-scenes moments from her BVI experience across her social media platforms. Her posts reached an audience of nearly 5.6 million and generated more than 2.6 million unique interactions, providing significant international exposure for both the British Virgin Islands and Summer Sizzle BVI.
Her island experience extended beyond fashion and photography with a private sailing excursion to Virgin Gorda, courtesy of Long Bay Beach Resort and guided by Speedy’s Tours.
The excursion included a visit to the iconic Baths and lunch at Top of the Baths, giving the actress an opportunity to experience some of the BVI’s most recognised attractions.

The 17th Annual Summer Sizzle BVI is scheduled for July 14–19, 2027, in the British Virgin Islands.
