FOUR HELD FOR QUESTIONING IN BRAZEN PIER PARK ROBBERY

Reports indicate that four (4) males have been held for questioning in relation to the high afternoon robbery at House of Luxury jewelry store on the Cyril B Romney Pier Park on Tuesday December 2, 2025. 

Both the RVIPF and the Cyril B Romney Pier Park have confirmed the horrific incident in official statements. 

Around 2pm on Tuesday December 2, masked gunmen entered House of Luxury on the Pier Park and robbed the jewelry store at gunpoint. Shots were said to be fired, however no injuries were reported. The men then made good their escape via a go fast boat that was docked at the Pier Park. Law Enforcement made chase, however they were only able to recover the boat which the men had run aground, and abandoned at Kingston. 

“This was a brazen act that endangered members of the public. We are dedicating all necessary resources to identify and apprehend those responsible. We urge anyone with information to come forward.” Ag. Commissioner of Police Richard Ullger stated. 

Search of Kingston Area Ensued 

Law Enforcement conducted an immediate search of the area following the incident. In the late hours of the same night, into the early hours of the following morning, the RVIPF had escalated their search and raided a home in the area. The search yielded a stash of Jewelry, masks, gloves and an AK 47. Four (4) men said to be of Trinidadian nationality were held for questioning, and remain in Police custody at this time. 

House of Luxury was previously robbed at gunpoint on July 1, 2023, in yet another high afternoon brazen incident. 

The RVIPF is appealing to members of the public who may have witnessed suspicious activity in the vicinity of the Pier Park and in the Kingston area around the time of the incident to contact the Intelligence Unit at 368-9339 or call the anonymous Crime Stoppers hotline at 800-8477 or 284-800-8477 from overseas. Any information given will be treated with the utmost confidence.
