RVIPF Officer Found With Spent Shells At AirPort Security

Sources are confirming that spent shells were allegedly found in the possession of a Royal Virgin Islands Police Force Officer on Monday December 15, 2025. The spent shells were said to be found while the Officer was leaving island, and going through the airport security check point.

We are told the Officer was not arrested at the time, and as of this morning, has not been arrested. Anyone found in possession of guns or explosives, spent shells while leaving or arriving in the Territory is normally detained.

Guavaberry Media inquired on why a RVIPF Officer would have spent shells in his possession, or be in a position to be leaving island with spent shells. Guavaberry is also seeking to obtain information on crime scene processing, including the collection and maintenance of evidence.

We understand the Officer is licensed to carry, however we are not certain if the spent shells are from his RVIPF firearm, or a personal firearm.

The RVIPF is tight lipped on the matter.

This is a breaking news story.
