BVI Prison Fellowship Marks 28 Years of the Myrtle Cox Stoutt Angel Tree Program
The British Virgin Islands Prison Fellowship proudly announces the 28th consecutive year of its heartfelt Myrtle Cox Stoutt Angel Tree Program. Named in honor of Mrs. Myrtle Cox Stoutt, one of the organization’s dedicated Charter Members who worked tirelessly during its formative years, this program continues to bring joy and hope during the holiday season.
Each year, the Angel Tree Program delivers Christmas gifts to the children of incarcerated parents. These gifts are given in the name of the incarcerated parent, with the organization’s name intentionally omitted to preserve the dignity and privacy of the families involved.
This initiative, alongside the Fellowship’s school uniform and textbook programs, plays a vital role in fostering family unity during these uncertain and challenging times.
The BVI Prison Fellowship extends its sincere gratitude to its valued partners who make this program possible: The BVI Catholic Community, The Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. Gamma Alpha Mu Zeta Chapter, Davis Funeral Home, The Social Development Department, and The Rotary Club of Road Town.
