Remember the wall?

For years, the Elmore Stoutt High School perimeter wall became one of the most talked-about walls in the British Virgin Islands — and, for a time, one of the biggest headaches attached to the name Myron Walwyn.

The project became the subject of a Commission of Inquiry, a police investigation and, eventually, criminal proceedings against Walwyn and former public officer Lorna Stevens. Both were cleared after the Magistrate found there was no case to answer in January 2025. 

But today?

Well… look at the wall! 😂

Fresh. Bright. Bold.

Yellow and blue.

Standing there like it has absolutely no idea it was once at the centre of a political storm.

And perhaps the funniest part is Walwyn’s own reaction:

“POV: Who painted my wall without my expressed permission? In my Trump voice, it is the most BEAUUUTIFUL wall I have ever seen! 😃”

And since we’re apparently doing the Trump voice:

“It’s a beautiful wall. A tremendous wall. Very strong, very powerful. People look at it and they say, ‘Wow, that’s a wall.’ Nobody builds walls like this. Nobody.” 😄

So, ladies and gentlemen, after all the hearings, headlines, arguments and political drama surrounding The Wall…

Perhaps we have finally reached the sequel:

THE WALLWIN. 😂

Because sometimes, after years of controversy, all a wall really needs is a fresh coat of paint.

And this one?

It really is beautiful. 😄
