Road Town Jetty to Reopen Friday as Normal Ferry Operations Resume
The British Virgin Islands Ports Authority (BVIPA) has announced that the Road Town Jetty Building will reopen on Friday, November 6, 2026, following the completion of essential health, safety and preventative maintenance works.
The temporary closure, which was necessary to facilitate the scheduled works, had resulted in adjustments to normal ferry operations at the facility.
With the works now completed, all international ferry arrivals and departures normally accommodated at the Road Town Jetty will resume as usual, including Immigration and Customs clearance services, effective Friday.
The Authority expressed appreciation to His Majesty’s Customs and Immigration Departments, ferry operators, employees and other stakeholders for their cooperation and support throughout the temporary arrangements.
BVIPA also thanked the traveling public for its patience and understanding during the closure, reaffirming that the health, safety and well-being of employees, passengers and stakeholders remain a priority.
The reopening marks a return to normal international ferry operations at the Road Town Jetty, with the Authority looking forward to welcoming passengers back to the facility.
